# Look after an LBG20x on site

> The relay's local maintenance page: connect from a phone or a laptop beside the relay, see whether each way out works and why not, test it, fix it, and change what it watches. Nothing to install.

What do you open? One pagelmt.adsumnetworks.com, in Chrome on an Android phone or a Mac. It works with no signal once opened. How does it connect?BluetoothWithin a few metres of the relay, with its passkey the first time. What does it change?Only what you saveEvery change is read back from the relay, and can be undone.

Relay **Fanstel LBG20BC02C**
Firmware **Bluetooth 0.3.19, cellular 0.2.24 or later**
Verified on the bench by **Adsum Networks, October 2026**

## What it is for

A relay in service sits on a pole or a wall and reports on its own. When something is wrong, or when the site changes, someone stands beside it with a phone. This page is what they open: it tells them, in one line, whether the relay is reaching the platform and why not, and gives them the one thing to do.

It is the relay's own word throughout. Every number on it is read from the relay, never guessed; a reading that is old says how old.

## Connect

1. Open **[lmt.adsumnetworks.com](https://lmt.adsumnetworks.com/)** in Chrome and press **Connect**.
2. Pick the relay. A relay in service advertises for five minutes after it starts or after the last disconnect; hold its **DFU1** button for 3 seconds to make it advertise again (the light turns blue).
3. The first time, type the passkey printed on its label.

The page opens on the **Overview**: its first line says whether the relay is running and reaching the platform, and if not, the reason and the fix.

## The rooms

| Room | What you see and do |
| :- | :- |
| **Overview** | Running or not, the newest report and how it went, the way it is using now, the sensors heard, the last alert |
| **Connection** | Each way out (Wi-Fi, LTE-M, NB-IoT, satellite) as a ladder: in use, standing by, or why it cannot; the Wi-Fi network; the data plan; where the data goes |
| **Sensors** | The sensors on its list and when each was last heard; what is nearby and not listed; add, rename or remove |
| **Alerts** | Alerts on the readings (cold chain, freezer, door, gone quiet, leak): set, test, pause; what last fired; the relay's own warnings |
| **Diagnostics** | Test one way out, step by step (SIM, network, internet, platform), each with its reason and fix; the health check; the support report |
| **Relay** | Name, position, firmware and update, pairing, the settings file, take it out of service |

**Advanced**, beside **Simple** in the top bar, adds the detail a technician needs (the cell, the timings, the rules as the relay holds them, the log) and marks every setting that can cut the connection.

## Test a way out

Diagnostics, **Test**: pick the way (Wi-Fi, LTE-M or NB-IoT) and press **Run the test**. The relay tries it now, whether or not a sensor has been heard, and the page shows each stage as it happens:

| Stage | Passes when |
| :- | :- |
| SIM | the card is in and unlocked |
| Network | the relay registers, with the operator, band and signal |
| Internet | it gets an address |
| Platform | your platform answers the test message |

A stage that fails says why (a reject cause from the network, a wrong APN, no coverage on the bands it is locked to) and what to do. The test message is marked as a test, so your dashboards leave it out. **Copy the result** puts the whole run in one block of text for a ticket.

A relay on older firmware cannot test a way out on its own. The page offers **Test with nearby devices** instead: until its next report the relay counts every device it hears as a sensor, so it has something to send, and the page puts your list back afterwards.

## Restart, and forget pairings

* **Restart** is in the relay's menu (its name, top right). It asks first. The whole relay restarts; the page connects again by itself. Settings, sensors, alerts and stored readings stay.
* **Forget every one**, under Relay, Pairing, forgets every phone and computer that was ever paired, this one too. Use it when a paired device is lost or given away. To connect again, remove the relay from your device's Bluetooth list and pair with the passkey.

## When you change something

Each change is reviewed before it goes, written, and read back from the relay; the page says **Saved** only once the relay holds it. A change that can cut the connection is marked, and the relay keeps it on test: if it cannot reach the platform after three starts, it puts the previous settings back by itself and says so. **Undo** puts back the last change.

**Save the settings** writes everything you set to one file, without keys or passwords, to keep, or to set up the next relay the same way.

## No signal on site

Open the page once while you have a connection; after that it opens with none. Under Account, **Prepare for a site with no signal** gets a relay's link to your platform ready in advance, so a relay can be linked where there is no network for the phone.
